Come Ride With Me in 2026

If there’s one thing I know for sure, it’s this: horses do not care about our excuses. They care about clarity, timing, and whether we show up with a plan.

That’s exactly why I love teaching at live events.

When you watch a horse change in real time—right there in the arena, with thousands of people looking on—you don’t just learn what to do. You learn how to think: how to read the horse you have today (not the one you wish you had), how to make a correction without creating anxiety, and how to build a deeper connection without nagging, bracing, or over-riding.

What you’ll see at my live demos

At the two big horse fairs this year, I’ll be doing live-horse educational demonstrations focused on becoming a better rider and developing a more connected partnership. Expect practical, repeatable tools, including:

  • How to get soft feel without getting stuck in “constant contact”
  • How to improve responsiveness without escalating pressure
  • How to interrupt tension before it becomes a blow-up
  • How to create “try” and relaxation—on purpose

Between presentations each day, I’ll also be available for Q&A and (yes) selfies. No need to be shy-horses already humble us daily, so we’re all even.

Fabulous riding retreats at the renowned C Lazy U Ranch are all-inclusive of lodging, meals, horses, and programming. Rejuvenate your soul at the luxurious “5-Spur” guest ranch in the Rocky Mountains. Currently all programs have openings, so grab a spot while you still can!

If you can’t travel, don’t worry—I’ve got you

If a horse fair or destination program isn’t in the cards this year, you can still get the same step-by-step training inside my Interactive Online Coaching program, plus my paid subscription content for ongoing, structured learning.

And if your horse tends toward worry, tension, or “busy feet,” I strongly recommend my short video that supports this month’s theme: my 3-step circling exercise to help your horse downshift and release anxiety:

Finally, if you want to go deeper into how horses communicate (and how to respond in a way they actually understand), look for my training video Speak the Language in my online store (DVD or streaming).

See you in 2026

Choose your 2026 adventure—horse expo, ranch retreat, or Maui tour—and let’s build the kind of partnership you can feel in every step. Until then, keep it simple, keep it consistent, and let your horse tell you when you’ve got it right.
