  1. I love all your videos and philosophies but this is one I will watch over and over. Everything Woodrow did in this one mimicked my 6 year old mare to the letter. Emotionality, on the muscle – I really never had words for her behavior other than tantrum. She is built like this boy and often I just feel she has too much pent up energy but also gets so emotional about things. I worked with her on boundaries recently from one of your early ground work videos with Woodrow and she wouldn’t have anything to do with me for a week afterwards – seriously wouldn’t come to me, wouldn’t make eye contact, she was pissed off! I simply asked her to stop crowding & creeping into me while standing in a halter & lead. Watching you continue the lesson after his tantrum spoke volumes and I know full well it’s what I need to do, but it can be scary to continue when she’s in this state of mind. Like Woodrow, I don’t believe she would intend to hurt me by striking, kicking or running over me – but I’m still afraid to get hurt. Do you think Woodrow will get over his emotionality when you ask him to do something he knows how to do but doesn’t feel like doing with age/time/practice or will this be an ongoing issue for emotional horses?
